I bought this product to connect an iPad Air (in a case) to a Macbook Pro, and it works exactly as I want it to. It's early days to see how it lasts, but from the times I've used it so far I'm very impressed- a solid hold, and the computer is fairly stable. It is also small enough to travel easily, so good for work traips.

Holds the ipad very well. Bit annoying to take on and off as the lid won't close with it on (but don't see how that could be avoided). Overall much cheaper to use this on a 13" macbook with sidecar than to get a 16" macbook.

My iPad Pro is like a secondary screen for my MacBook Pro with duet app for multitasking. But it lacks the support to hold the iPad in place. Bringing an tripod out is just the way as it is so inconvenient. After I saw a couple of reviews on the Mountie+, I decided to give it a try. Damn when it was here, it grips just as strong as what was stated in the video. It comes with different sizes of grips to fit different cases just to ur preference.
