I've never tried this dash mount type before, but my dash has a smooth part where this thing suctions down really well. I don't think it'll be going anywhere. Only complaint is there's no option to mount to vent, so it shouldn't say that in the description. It's also kind of bulky and ugly lol but functional.

I was skeptical at the beginning but the holder turned out to be a great deal.

The sticker glued good to the board, and holds the Samsung Fold 2 just great, even on bumps.

The head of the holder is rotating in different directions, so you can always adjust the screen angle.

The only thing, it could be better to have more practical lock system, with release button or something.

But overall 5 stars, it does the job well and seems to hold for a while.
