I've tried several windscreen phone mounts, but this is the first one that actually stays stuck. It's very firm and holds my phone securely. The air vents in my car are not favourably placed, so I haven't used that option.

Spring jaws - took my iPhone mini, and would probably take full-sized iPhone too. I use it with the ventilator mount - I haven't tried the screen attachment.

Is it rigid enough for the quite heavy latest phones? Yes, works great with my iPhone 13 in it’s Spigen armour case, makes a great satnav setup and I find it better than the magnetic type as you don’t need anything stuck to your phone. The vent clip part isn’t so good but I don’t use it anyway.
